Winter

Winter poetry

Winter brings a misty fog rising over the mountains.

Winter brings a chilly cold breeze swiftly swaying the dull and leaf-less trees.

As winter brings a pure white blanket of snow, the cold green grass is screaming and shouting for winter to end.

Winter brings numb, pale white feet as they stand on the slippery, slushy grass.

Winter brings a cloudy, white sky with a rare chance of the sun coming out and melting the ice on the rooftops.

Winter brings a frosty snow that falls soundlessly to the ground.

Winter brings a family together as they sit around the fire drinking mugs of tasty hot chocolate, watching the embers glow.

Spring is waiting patiently for its chance, ready to spoil winters dance.
