                                    Hide And Seek

"Hurry up!" I screeched impaitently

as we sprinted up a steep hill with dry dirt crumbing beneath our shoes leaving foot prints on the concrete in the unfinished house. We came to a wall with wooden planks leading up to the next storey of the house.

 

"Guys wait!" Maddie called out.

We quickly clampered up the planks the moment we heard her voice, not wanting her to see us and threw our selfs onto the concrete.

"Ha I saw your foot!" she yelled.

Crap that blew our cover. Paniking, Alice and Kaitlin started sprinting down the narrow hallway and I quickly followed behind trying not to make stomping sounds and slipped into a small room covered in plastic hiding our shadows from the afternoon sunlight. My heart pounding out of my chest I could smell the new concrete and wood, i slowly peered down the hallway and saw Maddie staring staight back at me.

"Run!" I shouted.

Alice and Kaitlin pushed infront of me and jumped 2m off the building, I knew i couldn't make the jump I had no choice but to join Maddie in finding the others.
