 Winter

Frost lies over the grass like a protective coat.

Cold air shadows the land spreading winters warning.

Nail-biting ice sends numbness through my feet, creating a tingly vibe.

 The  fog sits in the air hiding the world from sight.

until...

The sun wakes up and sprinkles glitter on the ground crystallising the ice.

 Air clears and surroundings are revealed.
  
The feeling of Antarctica turns into a hot summers day.
